WhoisScope (whoiscope.com) is a domain research tool operated by FullPercent ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account with email and password, we store your name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture URL from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Usage information. We log the searches you run (domain names and tool used), your IP address and timestamps to operate rate limits and prevent abuse.
Session cookie. We set a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in.

How we use it

To provide the service, keep you signed in and unlock full results for signed-in users.
To enforce fair-use limits and protect the service from automated abuse.
To contact you about your account if needed.

Google user data

WhoisScope requests only the basic openid, email and profile scopes. We use this data solely to create and sign in to your WhoisScope account. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. WhoisScope's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Domain lookups are sent to public registry services (RDAP/WHOIS) without your personal details.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email us from the address on the account and we will remove it within 30 days. You can also revoke WhoisScope's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Security

Data is stored on servers we control, transmitted over HTTPS, and passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
